Natural soap shouldn’t be left in water because it reduces the life of your soap.
Western Red Cedar has one of the longest life spans of North American trees and the wood and bark are decay-resistant. Native Americans valued this wood for making boats, totem poles, bark rope, and gave it the name “tree of long life.” Today, cedar is used for house shingles, boat construction, and is great for saunas and spas.
Our artisan soap decks are carved from solid, sustainably harvested Western Red Cedar. The deep grooves quickly drain away water. Use in the kitchen or bath; they will hold our newest soap bars.
