RECIPE: Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse for Hair

Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioning Hair Rinse

Last week we had a booth at the Ladies With Babies annual convention in Pasadena. It was great to meet everyone there! We sold out of several items which was exciting for us. The moms who visited us were glad to find some non-toxic natural solutions for soaps and body care. Happy Mother’s Day!

SLS Free Shampoo Bar Pure Coconut Oil

One of our most popular items was our Natural Shampoo Bar. We had some discussions with moms who wanted to use it but didn’t know what to do for a rinse. We told them about our Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse recipe, and since it was so much in demand we are publishing it. Of course it pairs perfectly with our Shampoo Bar, so go ahead and buy that while you’re here. That Shampoo Bar lasts a long time.

This Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse works for long hair, short hair, straight and curly hair, too. And no, you won’t smell like a salad when you use it!

Nice bonus:

Your skin’s natural pH is restored when you use our Shampoo Bar together with the Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse, and hair stays fresh for a couple days if you don’t want to shampoo every day.

Each bottle lasts a few weeks or longer depending on how much you use each day — you don’t need to use much to get all the benefits. At first I used four times more than I use now. Same results with using less. Just sayin’ …

Recipe:

(Makes 8 ounces)

About 1 ounce Apple Cider Vinegar
About 7 ounces fresh water

That’s it! You can add a few drops of essential oil if you want to have a different scent. I don’t but some people like that. If you do, shake the bottle before you apply the rinse to make sure you have mixed it well.

How to Use This Rinse:

Shampoo and rinse your hair normally. If you’re using our Shampoo Bar: wet hair first; rub Shampoo Bar over hair; use fingers to develop lather (it lathers very well); rinse off. Take the Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse and squirt a little bit on your hair. Rub it around to reach all the hair. Leave in for a few minutes or rinse off immediately. Both routines work the same. Dry and style your hair normally.

I no longer need to use any additional hair product to tame the “static electricity fly-away hair” when I use this combination of Shampoo Bar and Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse. As always, your mileage may vary.

Enjoy your natural hair remedy and please let us know if there are other recipes you would like to have.
